This kit depicts USS Salem CA-139 and sisters, USS Des Moines CA134 and USS Newport News CA148, in their mid 1950s configuration.
The ship was 716ft long which makes this model scale-out to 24.5 inches long. The kit contains resin cast parts, White Metals parts, Phot-etched parts, and a special set of decals that enables you to build this kit as any one of the ships in this class. The kit also includes a plan and profile drawing in 1/350th scale and a complete instruction booklet.
